With respect to wood species, advise might be your favorite, and especially, your least favorite, woods. Stocked wood species come and go, change appearance and even name, requests for "dark and sexy", "conservative, but elegant", "wild and on the edge" are the most helpful. We're usually able to come up with a "Production" that must have "a Walnut/Padauk whorl on a Hickory shaft", but such specific requests will generally delay your order while the woods are located, glued, etc.
