Fiber CSA News

We’re now offering shares of the 2010 clip. Fiber CSA 2010 — Both yarn and roving shares are available and will be delivered in the late Spring/early Summer of 2010.

CSA = “Community Supported Agriculture”

– We’re committed to this idea! YOU, the consumer, are able to join in the ag process from the beginning — providing real and needed support to your farmer of choice — US!. Think of it! By taking ONE action you BOTH reserve a share of some fantastic fiber for yourself AND provide encouragement to a small family farm.

Award-winning Fleeces!

Award-winning Fleeces!

The sheep are busy growing beautiful fleeces for your enjoyment!

Hatchtown Farm is tucked away on the Pemaquid peninsula in midcoast Maine, a delightful spot steeped in history and natural beauty. We share this old farm with two geriatric pooches, two young cats, a flock of registered Coopworth sheep and a mixed bag of laying hens.

We’re a small farm, working sustainably and with a hands on approach to all that we do. Our customers tell us that they value our friendly, personalized service and the attention to detail that goes into all of our products. In our tools, fiber and food you will find excellent quality, simple beauty and joy in their use.
