12" High Whorls in the sun

The whorl of a Hatchtown 12″ High Whorl is turned from a two wood lamination. The shaft is a 3/8″ dowel which is tapered, shaped and “decorated” on the lathe. Overall weight usually runs from 1.5 oz at the lightest to 2.25 for the heaviest — good for plying and learning spinners.
